The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

I’m a 24 year old working for an HOA management company in Charlotte, North Carolina. I spend my weekdays living the typical 9-5 routine. I know it makes me sound like a typical Millennial, but I believe that I was meant to do more than being trapped in an office Monday-Friday. The million dollar question my whole life has been “what do you want to be when you grow up?” Well, even after graduating from college (East Carolina University, go pirates!) I still haven’t come up with an answer. I am lucky enough to have a good job with a great boss that allows me to pay all of the bills that get thrown at you in this post-college life, but I can’t see this being my forever. So, in the meantime I’m living for the weekends and hoping that along the way I will find my purpose.

I started this site to document my mini vacations that help me survive this journey we call life with the help of some awesome friends. I will be sharing successes and failures along the way, travel plans, giving recommendations, and anything else that comes along. My hope is that I will be able to relate to and inspire others. I always see the popular sayings telling us to ‘drop everything and just go’ or ‘quit your job, buy a plane ticket, and never return’. Well, I have found those sayings to be a little easier said than done. Traveling unfortunately isn’t free so I need to work to be able to fund my trips and since I haven’t been working very long, my time off is limited. For now, I am just working for the weekend.

I hope y’all enjoy!

xoxo,

Lindsay
